Drs. Leslie and Prudence Pollard were featured guests at Valley View University’s 40 th anniversary celebrations in Oyibi, Accra, Ghana.  Valley View University serves 7000 students in Ghana, and is a member of the Consortium of African Adventist Universities and Partners, an organization founded by President Pollard in 2011 for faculty exchange and global service initiatives.

From November 14-17, 2018, Dr. Leslie Pollard made presentations to University administrators on the subject “Intentionality in Administration and Institutional Vision.”  On Sabbath, Dr. Pollard preached for the VVU worship service.  Dr. Prudence Pollard presented to the selected faculty on “LifeCore Research” and “Career Planning for the 21st Century Student.”

President Pollard commented, “The brief time spent with our colleagues at VVU solidified the relationship to Oakwood University.  We were received as members of one family. Two highlights of the trip were: the time spent sharing with colleagues and receiving their insights, and a surprise dedication of a new road which enshrined the name of Oakwood as a supporter in a stone monument marking the event.
