Scenes from the Career Fair 2018

by Michelle Ellis, Student Writer

Oakwood University has made a commitment to fully prepare students for permanent employment, internship positions and post graduate studies after graduation. To help fulfill this commitment, the Career Connections Center, in association with internal and external partners, presented the Oakwood University Career Fair 2018 on October 25, 2018.
Over 500 students had the opportunity to pre-register for the event, or register on the day of the event. Upon arrival in Blake Center, they enthusiastically walked through the Treehouse Lounge, seeking information and opportunities. Representatives from 46 external organizations and companies and 10 internal (on-campus) partners employers eagerly offered information. Some employers were even ready to interview and hire on-spot.
