During the Christmas holiday, the University Library will be closed for service while phase two of library renovations will be completed. Between December 16, 2019, through January 3, 2020, the facility will be painted and sound absorbent ceiling tiles will be installed.
During the Fall semester, phase one of the project was completed, which included installation of automated LCD lighting was installed on the inside and outside of the building, and repair of the elevator repaired. Additionally, a portion of the building was painted. Phase three of the renovations is planned for the summer.
We are delighted with the progress so far. The library renovation is a Title III project under the management of Dr. Handel Fraser. The virtual library remains open 24/7 at https://oakw.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/default.
