Look for Oakwood University in the premier issue of the magazine Faces of Huntsville/Madison that is available now in the Huntsville area. Oakwood was invited to take part in this publication because of its longtime contribution to the fabric of the Huntsville community. Participation in the magazine identifies organizations operating at a high-level within the local business community. Oakwood University’s profile highlights its distinct role in the region as a leader in Christian higher education. The profile photograph taken by Birmingham photographer Billy Brown on the campus of the university, in front of historic East Hall, is accompanied by a 125-word description of Oakwood.
In the two-page spread, the university is not only represented by its president, Dr. Leslie Pollard, but members of the OU Ambassadors 2019 Championship Men’s Basketball team and their coach; the Honda Campus All-star team with their coach; and The Aeolians, the Choir of the World, the Conductor of the World.
