Oakwood University Approved as a Federal Charity

Welcome to the World of CFC – THE COMBINED FEDERAL CAMPAIGN (CFC)!! Oakwood University has been approved as a federal charity, and therefore will be listed as an eligible charitable organization for Federal donors to contribute through payroll deductions.
Our CFC code is 96964 .  The giving campaign begins September 2019 and will extend to January 2020. 
It Is our intention to introduce to some, and remind others about, the mission of the CFC.  “The mission of the CFC is to support and to promote philanthropy through a voluntary program that is employee-focused, cost-efficient and effective in providing all Federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.” 
Oakwood University is once again listed as one of the organizations to which federal employees can make contributions through payroll deductions. Not only can alums contribute, but they can invite other federal employees, friends, family and coworkers to join them in supporting their beloved HBCU as it seeks to fulfill the mission of transforming lives through loving, thoughtful care. This column will feature the community service areas that your CFC donations will support.
