After spending time in Detroit, the Development and Alumni Relations Team, comprised of Lewis Jones, Miriam Battles, Audree Johnson, Emile Parker, Jyremy Reid, and Andrew Young, headed west to fellowship with Oakwood alumni and friends in Chicago, and celebrate Oakwood University. The team is excited about the opportunities for engagement and philanthropy in the Lake Region territory. All events were held at the Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist Church. Dr. Jesse Wilson was the speaker for the vesper service on Friday evening, May 31, and the guest speaker at the Divine Worship service was President Leslie Pollard, who also celebrated his birthday on June 1.
