From November 4-6, 2018, President Leslie Pollard joined with the convened North American Division (NAD) Executive Committee and representatives from the General Conference, Media Ministries, Pacific Press Publishing, Association of InterCollegiate Adventist Student Association Presidents, Association of Adventist Colleges and Universities, and a host of other groups, to address the mission, needs, and purposes of the NAD.
During Dr. Pollard’s report about Oakwood, he invited USM President Justin Thornton to the microphone (pictured). Justin gave a rousing presentation on the 2018 USM Voter Registration Drive which registered 800 eligible voters. This number represents 62% of eligible student voters. Also attending the meetings from Oakwood was Raymond King, Director for Student Activities. Dr. Pollard also served as a member of the writing committee which responded to the General Conference’s Unity and Compliance Document.
