Dr. Fedoria Rugless , ’07, has been named Director of Research at Church Health with a faculty appointment as a Research Assistant Professor within the University of Memphis (UofM) School of Health Studies. She received her BS in Biomedical Sciences from Oakwood University in 2007, and her Ph.D. in epidemiology from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Rugless is very enthusiastic about fulfilling this new role as it embodies both of her passions and areas of service in both the healthcare and research arenas. Ultimately, she has a desire to reduce healthcare disparities, particularly within underserved populations, and for all to obtain holistic health and wellness.
