April L. Seay Toure, ’09 , M.D., successfully passed the Psychiatry certification examination on September 24, 2018, issued by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In becoming Board certified, Dr. Toure has completed rigorous training and achieved the gold standard in six core competencies (patient care, medical knowledge, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, systems-based practice, and practice-based learning and improvement). She is scheduled to complete a fellowship in Psychiatry in June 2018.
